Fall Karate Belt Ceremony

The KICKSTART program at BMS participated in the Belt Ceremony held at Fonville MS on December 15, 2009.

This belt ceremony was one to remember due to Mr. Norris being present.  It was a thrill to see the students face when they had a chance to meet him.  This is the same man who made all of the cool action movies and the same man who is the Grand Master of the style I teach.  But I am sure the students remembers him the most by his legendary jokes.  " At night time the Boogey man checks his closet to see if Chuck Norris is in there"!  Mr. Norris and his wife Gena Norris loved the ceremony and thought that the students did a great job.  They mentioned how awesome it was to see the students perform and how well the students conducted themselves.  I would like to thank Mr. Day and the rest of the staff for coming out and supporting Black Middle Schools karate program.  It was an honor and I hope to see you at the next one.
