Mr. Billy Chiasson
Recipient of the Charles Harding VIPS Senior Award 2009-2010
Mr. Billy has been volunteering at Black Middle School for 16 years. He works with the PTO, encouraging students to volunteer and assists all over campus with the faculty, staff and administration.
The Luby's ACT (Achieving Character Together) progream offers HISD middle school students an opportunity to be recognized each week for demonstrating ourtstanding character. Teachers and faculty nominate students who have demonstrated the following characteristics:
Respect, Commitment, Loyalty, Self-Respect, Punctuality, and Self-Reliance.
A drawing is held each week to select the winning student for that week. Each six weeks a student nomination is selected by district representatives to receive and IPod, $25 Luby's gift card and a backpack.
