7th Grade Field Trip to Main Street Theater by Estela Ruiz, BMS Panther Prowler Editor The 7th graders went to see The BFG (Big Friendly Giant) at the Main Street Theater. It is a play based on the book by Roald Dahl. The play is about a girl named Sophie. She ends up having an adventure with the BFG and learns about being selfish and the rewards of true friendships. Tieara Mcarter, a student, said, “It was okay but a bit childish.” Another student, Courtney Punch, said her favorite part “was when he (the BFG) drank something, started dancing around, and passed gas in front of the audience.”
